Really delicious meals with rich flavours and great prices! Dined here many times while visiting with family in the Balwyn North area. Their food was always delicious and portion sizes are good. Definitely recommend: • Hainanese Chicken Rice • Traditional Kolo Mee • Pork Trotter Vinegar on Rice • Loh Bak • Hokkian Mee • Char Hor Fun • Singapore Hokkian Char Staff are very welcoming and make the dining experience really enjoyable. Nanyang Express is the best thing that happened for Balwyn/Melbourne. We do takeaways from here every other day, and I will always support this restaurant - amazing yummy good food, value for money (thanks to their compassionate owners), this is amazing help for working moms who has no time to cook, providing affordable food for kids & families. And thanks for opening till 3pm, just nice for school pickup, my kids get warm food for a late lunch ! Please keep this shop and stay open here forever, so that I can still eat yummy food here when I am 80 😃 ! Highly, highly recommended and don’t listen to people who are negative, not true at all ! Great variety of traditional Malaysian food with some on special prices. Ordered their pork noodle (dry version) , kolomee, curry mee and chicken rice All of them come out in timely manner and quite flavourful too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
